Our 1lb Kinetic Degradation Fluxion (KDF) 55/Bone Char is a high purity copper-zinc formulation that reduces chlorine, lead, mercury, iron, arsenic, and hydrogen sulfide from water through a fundamental chemical mechanism known as redox (reduction/oxidation). This technique has a modest anti-bacterial, algaecide, and fungal impact which could help to decrease limescale formation. KDF, when combined with bone char, can decrease fluoride while extending the life of other filter cartridges in the system.
